Accessibility Statement

Bikurey Hasade Group is committed to giving all its customers, suppliers and the public, including people with disabilities, equal and accessible service. This website has been made accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C’s WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

What we have done

  • An accessibility menu (the button in the corner of the screen): larger text, high contrast, grayscale, highlighted links, a readable font and stopped animations.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a clear outline on the focused item and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
  • A text description for every image that carries information, and for every link shown as an image (such as the logos).
  • Headings and page regions (header, main content, footer) that screen-reader users can jump between.
  • Text and background colours with the contrast the standard requires.
  • Every field in the contact form has a label, and the success or error message after sending is read out by screen readers.
  • The class-action settlement notice is shown as text, not only as a scanned image.
  • The site works on phones and tablets, and its content stays readable when zoomed to 200%.

How the site was tested

The site was tested with the axe automated checker, with keyboard-only navigation, and in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome and Edge) on desktop and mobile.

What is not yet fully accessible

  • The PDF documents on the site (the motion to approve the class-action settlement and the settlement agreement) are legal documents prepared outside the site and are not fully accessible. We will gladly send them in an accessible format on request.
  • The Google map on the contact page is an external service. The address is also given as text on the page.
  • The scrolling photo gallery can only be scrolled by dragging. Every photo in it has a text description, so no information is lost.
  • “Customer login” leads to an external system that is not part of this website.
  • The data on the Investor Relations page comes from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s Maya system, and the links to filings lead to the Maya website, which the company does not control.
